trying to do the airbox mod to a f4i is there any pics, previous threads , diagrams anything help me out thx

not only have i never heard of it..... i've never gotten oil in my airbox like the 636...

Everyone tells me it makes hte bike pull way harder on idle

And considering I suck, and I can rock idle at 2k rpm on my f4i, it must help :YEAH :YEAH :YEAH




edit: btw, when you guys shut your f4i off with this mod done, like 5 seconds later does it make a weird sound like its releasing air through a 'reed/flappervalve' or somthing?...

First time I heard about it was in a big thread about 2 months back

I just did it to my bike 2 days ago, and I think it helped a lot..

mine also makes a moan sound after i cut it off

i think it only happens on an f4i if it lays on the left side thats how it happened to me
