Re: staggered stand-ups

All you big guys better be careful doing staggered stand-ups. A guy I knew went down doing a staggered stand-up because his left passenger peg snapped. He was about 6'2 and 240 lbs. He was on a '03 gsx-r 1000. Not trying to scare anybody but it's something to think about. He got a new passenger peg made out of steel and replaced the bolts with grade 8 bolts. He hasn't had any problems since. Better be safe than sorry.

Re: staggered stand-ups

I have this big mental thing about doing standups. Ive done a couple and they are definatly the longest and most controlable wheelies ive done. I just feel way too high to clutch it up

"I have this big mental thing about doing standups."

just do them more and they soon start to feel so controlled, that sitting down feels hard as hell compared to staggered.
