Re: F4i Tip Over Sensor Help

i have a quick question....I read this entire thread, reply by reply but no where in here does it say WHERE the friggin wires are....lol, i know its a stupid question, but WHERE on/in the bike are these red, green and white wires located? (i can't tell from the pics either)

also, i read many different methods of doing it....is there one thats better than the other?

i assume that you mean behind the speedo and the tacho? ....do i have to take off the front plastic or is there an easier way? (i've taken off sides but never the front)

Re: F4i Tip Over Sensor Help

you should just leave it alone, untill ur doing idle wheelies u have no worry, and by the time u have idle wheelies your upper (front) will be demolished.

i've got a 905 cage

but just to confirm....if i'm doing 11s at say 20-30mphs an hour, i shouldn't worry? i don't understand what speed has to do with the sensor kicking in, can you explain?

Re: F4i Tip Over Sensor Help

its a pendelum switch, when the bike ends up on its side it will shut off, when ur doing circles and 2am scrapes, thats when u need to worry about it. after u drop your bike a few times u will eventualy demolish your front fairing and speedo tacho stay. and then u will bypass it

Re: F4i Tip Over Sensor Help

Also just as a side note.
"funny things to do with your leftover tip over switch"
Wire it into a freinds car ignition system mounted sideways so every time he goes to take off the car just stops dead. Then just starts again with out it would seem for any reason
When this is done try very hard not to fall over laughing in your driveway as he leaves....
