also.... get a video camera and have someone video tape you. that way you can see how much farther you need to go other then guessing. for the most part once you think you cant go back anymore you still have another few inches.

slow wheelies

If you can ride out a balanced first gear stand up,you can learn to ride your rear brake. If you can ride right at your balance point.Gearing down does help, but when I learned,I had stock gearing(that's why I crashed so bad{you gotta blame it on something}).When I geared it down and ran 15psi in the REAR TIRE ONLY it made a huge difference. Now I can get my bike(CBR900)creeping at like 8-10mph.

screw lowering the psi to 15!!!!

how often are you doing 12's?---I opt for all around aggresive riding......you know, crackin it up to speed.knee down in the corners.and loft a huge endo at whatever stoplight is next.if you lower your psi to that.and try and ride.its gonna suck.try and learn everything with stock gearing and pressure.THEN bust out the craftsman tool set and change sprockets and all that.

get a cage if your worried

I just bought a cage and bar from Freestyle ingenuity. That helps in keeping your bike from getting trashed. When learning 12's you know your gonna wreck now and again. Just get a cage to save a TON of money when you ball your bike up. And..practice, practice, practice. Be safe.
