That's sick! Congrats and post pics. My baby is a Smith and Wesson MP15T. As far as optics go, I'm stuck between buying an Eotech 522 or the Meprolight Reflex.

I love my kimber custom covert II. 1500 rounds through it and not a single problem. I have the xdm .40 also but since I got the kimber I never shoot the xdm.

I've already got a surefire light on it. I dot like the acog's...They aren't fast enough for me. I like having as much peripheral vision as possible. Eotech with a flip to side magnifier is nice, though!

Only thing I dislike about the SOCOM II's, is with the weight! They are a little on the heavy side, but I reckon when I get me a nice long distance gun, it will be a heavy barrel .308 or if I could find one, an old school sniper rifle with a 30/06 caliber! That would be tits! Ha ha.

Good luck and post up some pics when you get it and set it up.

and M6x tactical illuminator by insight technologies is hands down the best one on the market.

think you mean an EO Tech 552...... its a badass optic, and it'll work with the new EO Tech 4x magnification piece.
