My new assault rifle - Guns and Weapons

I know a lot of you are into AK's and AR's but i had to get this when i saw it wanted to do something a little different...This is just a picture from the website but when i get it set up I will take some pictures of it...Still haven't had the chance to fire any rounds through it so let me know what you think...BTW has anyone ever shot one of these???

It's a Sig Sauer 556....yeh I can shoot AR's and AK's whenever, pretty much all of my boys have one or the other so i decided to go a different route

Great gun, good choice. Clean and rliable because it is a piston driven rifle vs normal AR, are direct impingement, (gas goes in your face through upper)

Buy lots of mags and ammo, rumor has it they will run short soon, especially if we get a Dem in office

I didn't know but it takes AR mags....and I Just picked up 2 more of the sig mags that clip together...

the SIG 556 is a good choice...... deff go with an EO Tech though

lookin good. they gave us those pistol grip/bipods in iraq but they just weren't practical. i guess if you're just doing target shooting in the prone, then you're good though......

yeh it's a blackwater product I thought it would be sweet but I don't like it as much as I thought... I want the regular steel or iron grip on the M4's

Ok Now I'm pissed off..... Thats a hell of a package... 3,500.00 and it comes with a bad ass case for the rifle and pistol....

I'm sure they make one that's plastic but my uncle's buddy came home from Iraq and gave him a forward pistol grip and it's for sure Steel or iron....It's on his colt AR-15 it almost reminds me of the pistol grip on the little MP5 Bobcats or whatever they are called with the forward pistol grip

That thing looks really cheap and crappy. Shoots lots of shells though which makes em fun. I sell guns for a living and personally think the JP is the finest AR made. If you aren't looking to spend 3k then DPMS is your next bet. I think their 308 was voted AR of the year.

Ummm first off if you are calling the Sig 556 cheap and crappy you shouldn't sell guns and you're a fucking idiot....I might have misunderstood what you were getting at

And Everyone I know has an AR I shoot them all day long and it's personally the weapon I would take into combat but I'm shooting targets not people......Personally if I was going to buy an AR TODAY I would order a Panther Arms 6.8 MM ....But I wanted something a little different I don't know anyone who owns a 556 so I thought it would be cool to get.
