Re: First hand gun!

The only thing I dont care for about the S&W Sigma is that the trigger pull is very extreme. 12-14 pounds! I love it thoug. I just picked it up last week for a killer price. He had it brand new for $289 in the Swat green. Its pretty tight!

Now with my tax refunds i'm gonna go pick up the Taurus Millenium Pro .45 cal. That is a tight gun for sure. I think I'll use that for a carry!

Yeah that price isnt bad. I paid $300 even for mine. An your right the trigger pull is alittle extreme but I think thats a good thing considering there is only a trigger safety on the firearm.

Re: First hand gun!

no doubt, its worth the money. My cousin has one also. We were at the street races one night. 5 0 shows up and his fat a$$ takes off running and loses his balance. falls and lands on his back with the gun holstered at the middle of his lower back. The gun didnt misfire or anything. It scratched the pavement thats about it.

Re: First hand gun!

S&W VE40 is nice gun reliable pretty damn acurate only flaw i found is the trigger pull.. takes a bit much but i still love it, just like everything else need to get used to it.. i kinda like it cuz it gives me a chance prep for the recoil and aim a lil better.. but i love my glock 19 too.. fun gun

Re: First hand gun!

I think the problem was, I was using cheap steel casings, they tend to swell and get stuck in the barrell....But otherwise it shoots fine.

I got one in 40s&w its super fun to shoot. They're worth buying as long as it is a 3rd gen model (2nd digit of serial will be a Z). I've got 450+ rounds through it, wolf's cci blazers winchester whites and some ugly looking reloads from a gun show, its eaten it all and never complained. The sights take some getting used to but its still a lot of gun for the price

i was just going to say that, ive had two (first one was confiscated, ******* new york gun laws) millennium pro .45's. they are def a tight gun, i got the compact model for my conceal carry. ive shot a ton of rounds through it and it shoot nice, i would def recommend it, fairly inexpensive, shoot well, and lifetime warranty
