Re: truck wheels and tires question?

Why have you bought a train horn that is only 135db? seems really low.. I have a Stebel airhorn on my truck and its 140db, sounds like a train horn and I made some woman almost jump into a hedge yesterday, scaring pedestrians is FUN! Only cost £30 too.

Re: truck wheels and tires question?

Hmm you're missing the point. My horn isnt a "cheap" version it's a quality Stebel one, Stebel also make horns for trains MY point is, why spend £300 on a 135db one? Surely you should have got a much louder one for that sort of money...

Anyway, got any pics of it yet? looking forward to seeing it.

Re: truck wheels and tires question?

to be fair dude im getting it alot cheaper than that hes doing me a good deal with it cus the wheels and stuff. im just waiting for parts and stuff to come as the credit crunch in america they dont keep much on the shelf anymore. so things have gotta be made to order. its took me ages to have the truck like this.

Re: truck wheels and tires question?

Ha Ha your truck's going to be a monster!

Those tyres should come with a rain warning tho. I had 34's on my truck and tried to soak a bus queue standing next to a massive puddle. The water grabbed the kerbside wheel and spun my truck. Didn't kill anyone.

The train horn is a better bet for freaking people out.
