You have the wheels locked when you come down from a front end wheelie, you're going to be wearing that quad. Try it with your legs over the handlebars first. THe balance point on most quads is really high, so it'll take you a while to get used to it. If you got warped rotors, like I do, you can hang up rolling anything.
