x18 cluch

i gat a x18 few days ago,and am haveing some trouble with the damn cluch, its hard to pull the lever in and when you let go,it takes few secs for the full power to kick in,messes my wheelies up.

Dose anyone else have this problem?
would a msr cluch work on these things?

Re: x18 cluch

check if the clutch cable makes good wide curves, and if it's lubed in.
what you mean by "it takes few secs for the full power to kick in",
is it the engine not revving or the clutch not engaging?

i checked the cable it moves fine...When i let the cluch out i have to push it out with my fingers for the power to kick in,halfe the time i cant puch it out in time and in few mins my fingers hurt.Theres a spring were the cluch able conects, but it dose not seem to pull the cable well..is there maybe someone i should adjust inside the cluch?

Re: x18 cluch

I wonder if bike's new.
Chineses aren't japs, you may find flawed bikes once in a while.
I'm starting to think there's something wrong with clutch plates. maybe badly assembled.
All in all, you've done anything else.. time to get to the core of it.

Re: x18 cluch

i think i made it a little easyer....but it would be great if there was a spring in the lever to bounce it back fast...

Re: x18 cluch

the clutch should be plenty enough to pull every thing back if it doesn't then you got some thing hanging up
