How many of you would pirate a stunt vid?

Just as the title says, how many of you would pirate a stunt video, or rather how many of you would not have an objection to a Post called "Free wheelies for dummies DVD" and when you opened it there was a torrent link to download the movie.

Long story short, someone posted that on another message board I'm ond and I got the thread and link shutdown. Now I'm getting heat for it.

http://www.r6messagenet.com/forums/s...d.php?p=296572

So, I guess I'm kinda wondering I just more respect for IP then most, or there just being jackasses about it.

Re: How many of you would pirate a stunt vid?

i hate that sh*t
people invest money to make a vid and some cheap ass mo-fo that don't want to pay would rather pirate that sh*t than to cough up $20 and buy it...

but such is the way in the world today...

people enjoy doing it until the money is being taken form their pockets...

I sell stunt DVD's so I am definantely against pirating... even if I didn't I have always prefered owning my own original copy. Even music CD's... I will burn my own mix CD's but generally from CD's that I own or maybe a mates if I only like one song from an album...

Regstunts is a decent person
Re: How many of you would pirate a stunt vid?

I own over 30 original stunt DVD's. I like to collect them, and have the original vids. I have let a couple of buddies burn them since we watch them all the time and I won't lend them out for more than a day or two. I dont think having an entire video on the net for anyone/everyone to download is OK. Thats screwing someone out of alot of money.

I will have a DVD out for fall '05 and if it ended up on the net for free download, I'd be hunting the prick down. If the odd guy is gonna burn a copy for his buddy, there isn't much you can do about that.

I agree with Mike totally. I like to own the original copy of something as well. I've even bought some DVD's off ebay that were listed as originals with jackets and all, but when they arrived, guess what? Copy's inside original looking boxes!

Do i have anything downloaded or pirated? Of course i do. Burn CD's all the time, but that's usually just to have more than just one copy in case of a mishap.

If you make it, somebody will rip it off eventually. It's just the way of the world.

Re: How many of you would pirate a stunt vid?

What ever I know all of you in here have at least one burned CD. Thats pretty much the same thing. So Fook that chit, I would download a pirated copy any day of the week. But I would never post up a vid.

Re: How many of you would pirate a stunt vid?

I'd never do it man - Stunting's still got a long way to go - I'd like to think that my DVD money actually gets used by the producers to promote the sport wherever possible, not JUST buy Lambos

Re: How many of you would pirate a stunt vid?

well the dvd's are how most of us are staying on the road and replacing broken parts, i mean is 10 bucks really that much money that you would rather spend 2 hours or more rippin off a copy....i have better things to do with that time. think about it, buy a copy support the sport and help it to grow, rip a copy...well your rippin off everyone who is trying to make a go of this and make it mainstream.

with that said....BUY OUR DVD!!!
