Re: want to get a supermoto stunt bike but i have questions...

I just picked up a 2004 CRF250X a couple weeks ago, I've owned LOTS of dirtbike before, and LOVE this one for stunting... you dont have to regear anything, It balances like a DREAM!, one handers, circles wheelies, seatstander circles, anything you throw at the bike is a breeze because the bike balances so well! and I'm fabing up a 12bar this week (will post pics as soon as its done) Handbrake parts are on order. thats really all you need for these bikes, (I just want the 12bar to put my foot in for circles) you'll need to change out the rear master cylinder with a sportbike master cylinder to make a handbrake.

Thumbs up Re: want to get a supermoto stunt bike but i have questions...

I think the Husky sm450 would be sweet dry sump oil system, fuel injection, plus already fitted with motard gear!

Re: want to get a supermoto stunt bike but i have questions...

I got an 07 crf 150f pretty much stock besides the bars and rear tire.

I love stunting the dirt bike more cuz its easier for some reason. I realy wanna step up to a 150r or to the ktm 450 but no loot.

Yeah I'm trying to find parts but no one makes them

Re: want to get a supermoto stunt bike but i have questions...

I just saw one of these at a scooter shop in town!
http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/sac...d_125_2007.php
Guy and the shop told me it was $2700, with a full 2 year parts and labor warranty! its made in china, but hey, for a stunt bike, it looks pretty slick, and it would be CAKE to throw a 12bar on that sucker, and its cheap & street legal. pretty cool. its only a 125cc engine, but the sales guy was telling me they think there will be a 250cc version out next year.

Re: want to get a supermoto stunt bike but i have questions...

its a crf450r, but I would recommend the X, wider range gearing, little more top speed, and some other extras, like a headlight, electric start, and I think it has some extra stuff around the motor to protect parts.
