![]() | i'm a squid So i have been on this forum for like... a year and a half but never really took stunting serious until about a week ago (i would normally just come on here and learn some stuff and stay quiet). anyways i just found BP and i have become pretty stable there and i think im read to move on, but i feel to move on i need larger sprockets... question is if i have a fairly uncommon bike is there any way i can have a sprocket made? i have a 96 KLX650 and the dealer can only give me 1 more tooth.... sorry in advanced for my squid-lyness |

![]() | Re: i'm a squid i got an odd type bike 05 YZF600r not R-6, vortex had a sprocket in stock and oversize ones, anodized , whatever you like....was 160can, although you won't get dinged w border fees, squid fees, USPS fees, B.S fees and the likes...i got mine shipped and on the bike in less thatn 2 weeks, 530 pitch...but same deal as gxr750 says, call to order. over sizes are added 40 bucks i think right off the bat. |

![]() | Re: i'm a squid I don't think you need to regear the 96 KLX650, first gear is pretty slow, I've ridden those bikes before. you can slow a wheelie almost to a stop in first gear. once you start getting past balance point and using the brake, you'll see how slow first gear can go on a wheelie. but that's just my opinion, some people feel comfortable at different gearings. |

but i havent riddden one so im not sure. usually 3-5 up helps a little and is all you really need. too much gearing will damper your learning process. | |
