![]() | CRF450 Stunt pegs & wheelie bar Hey fellas, Sorry if this is a double post, I searched around but found too many threads that didnt seem to touch on what I was lookin for. I got a 450x and wanna get some pegs and stuff for it. Just wondering what you guys suggest. Id rather not be drilling into the swingarm if I dont need to. Also, what do we got available in the way of wheelie bars? This bike will still be used mostly for offroad and jumping and stuff....but when we hit the lots Id prefer to get out there on my CRF rather than my gixxer until I am more consistant lol. Do we have wheelie bars that can be removed really fast so I can go back to my dirtbiking roots? |

![]() I am running out of ways to mount the plate lmao. Also, basically I'm lookin for a place to put my left foot. On the gixxer I can use the back passenger pegs, but on my CRF standups are more uncomfortable. I'm gunna hit up some stores this afternoon see what I can come up with. I wanna come up with something that is better for stundups. Where on the subframe are we talkin? Any spots I could think of would be inconvenient no? BMX pegs are fine, Im just wonderin where you guys mounted them | |

![]() ![]() It comes off with 2 bolts and the wiring goes through 2 4 flat trailer connectors so it just unplugs. For the cheater peg, you can build a flat plate that is bent 90 degrees that bolts on top of the fender to rest your foot on or bolt a BMX peg to the subframe somewhere around where the side panels meet the rear fenderin the back. You might not have subframe there being a true motocross style subframe.

![]() | Re: CRF450 Stunt pegs & wheelie bar thanks for the info. I like that tail section you got too. My friend got one for is xr and I wasnt sure because I was afraid that wheelies would clip it, but how you have the wiring set up that would make for easy removal. Yeah my subframe cuts off right up by the airbox...there is nothing near the back at all. Putting a peg by the airbox wouldnt work since my leg would just hit it in normal riding position. Looks like my only option would be to put threaded rod through my rear axle and mount the pegs that way, but the problem is that is a pretty far stretch for my leg even thoguh Im 6'1...the bike seat sits up so high and you are forward so much that gettin the leg back there is a stretch... Hmmm...suggestions?! lol PS- you have way too many bikes in your garage ![]() Last edited by amp3d : 04-12-2008 at 01:47 PM. |

![]() | Re: CRF450 Stunt pegs & wheelie bar fuckin sick! Where did you have this made up? ![]() I agree the other custom subframe option is not a great option for me since primarily its gunna still be used offroad, just local lot stunting when I get bored after work, heh. Thanks for the posts guys. I will check out the other link for how the cheater peg was installed EDIT: I have powerworx shit on my gixxer and LOOOVE it, I didnt know they made stuff for my CRF. Thanks!! Last edited by amp3d : 04-30-2008 at 05:17 PM. |

![]() | Re: CRF450 Stunt pegs & wheelie bar Looks awesome, and simple enough! I think we have a winner! ![]() On a side note, your 12 bar I don't see that listed on powers stuntworx site. I emailed them though, did they make it custom for you? I have a 450X though, not a 450R. I'm HOPING the frame is the same so I can hook it up too |
