What CRF to choose

Hey guys...ive been on here askin a lot of newb questions since i dont kno dick about dirt bikes...well Ive decided to def go Honda (always been a honda boy at heart) but what model to go with?

I might be lookin at a CRF150F with some cash, how are they? Ide really prefer a R model tho...how do they compare to each other?

Anyone ever stunt a CRF85R? they seem to be a power house for such a small bore.

My last 2 models Im lookin at are the 250R and the 230F...any reviews?

Re: What CRF to choose

well i was just lookin for reviews on different model CRFs...

but yea me and D-wreck been talkin for a minute...he told me he had to sell the gixxer and part out the F4 to see how much cash he could throw my way with his 150F...I dunno if hes still down for that deal or what he posted the gixxer and CRF together so i dunno if hes not interested anymore?

Re: What CRF to choose

cool...

well i have only ridden the crf250 450 and 230....

hte 230, is cool, but lacks power...

the 450 is a fuckin beast...

i think the 250s are great...

and those 150rs look pretty fun too, with the new motor and inverted forks....

Re: What CRF to choose

yea im tryin to get rid of my F4i so i can have sum cash and get a dirt bike to stunt then eventually get a 636 or a street legal 450R motard.

If derrick cant trade Im gonna go with a 150R or 250R I think.

Re: What CRF to choose

the crf 450 is what its all about for me, but I rock a crf50, crf70, and a crf100. I dont like the swingarm on the 150 cuz I cant get my stunt pegs on it, 230 sucks all around, I havn't hit a 250 yet, but Im sure it would be sweet also!

Re: What CRF to choose

hmmm sooo the 230 is gahbage (well not gahbage just not the best choice)

the 150 is a rinky dink toy (as fun as it may be)

the 250R is still kinda just a toy but a little more serious?

and if I wanna get serious and keep it gangsta the 450R is where its at huh.

only reason Im lookin the the 150R and 250R is because I really am lookin to get just a toy for some practice and a few basics on lock...and hopefully still have some cash left to get some ink done...but damn ide love a 450

Pick up a Fundo then, the crf 100, or the hundo, LOL. Its a sweet little training bike, has a clutch, stunt parts available, and pretty cheep!

Re: What CRF to choose

I have an '07 250F and I love it, but if I was your size I'd get the 150R.

There are some kids at the track riding those and they rip for a 150!

Re: What CRF to choose

yea I was thinkin a 150R might be the way to go...especially cuz of the whole asian shortness problem lol...but I dunno if the 150R would be any good for a first time FMX bike too tho?

I want a bike that I cant stunt and do FMX on now...Im hangin up the street bike stunts for a season or so untill I can afford a 05/06 636
