Re: 250r vs. 250x

Alright, I getcha.

Besides places like Craigslist, WantAds and eBay, are there any other pretty big classifieds sites/mags that I should look at?

I was just about to buy a 250X tomorrow, but some guy got to it just before me.

Re: 250r vs. 250x

yeah they will be advertized everywhere...theres far fewer x models than R models around so im not sure how difficult it may be to find one that works for you...

O.K. Well thanks for your help so far. I think I've got a 250X in Pine City, NY, that I'll be picking up this weekend.

ehh, im not sure if that will be enough...the '04 R models are still going for around $3,500, the X models usually sell for higher....if you can get one for 3k jump on it fast. What year did the 'X' come out??? Was it 05?

Re: 250r vs. 250x

The X first came out in 2004. I have a deal on a '04 one right now for $2800. Guy has a complete FMF Q exhaust on there and just had a complete top end job and valves adjusted. Extra set of plastics too.

That sucks Bro, you'd think your stuff would be safe at a stunt show.

That sucks... initial karma?

I'm 15, so I can't find half a decent job around here that could rake in much. I don't want to work at Market Basket either...

I feel ya, when I was your age that was the only shithole that would hire me. Try looking for a roofer or someother trade that you can work for on the weekends. They'll pay the best and you'll learn something.
