stunts parts for drz400sm/rmz-450

I have seen of a few of the threads guys talking about making some stunt parts for a drz-400sm back in nov. but haven't seen anything since. Does anyone know if there are 12'o clock bars or anything else out there for them? Anything for an RMZ-450? Thanks...

You dont need a 12 bar unless your going to put you foot in it....the only thing you might consider is a hand brake set up....

Nothing better than a sound of a plastic fender dragging on the asphalt. So used to hearing metal 12 bars, plastic is like music to the ears.

I went down 1, up 6. I am 225lbs and we are at over 5000ft. altitude. I bet the bike makes less than 30 horse up here, haha. Your bike looks good E-Loc, I dig the motard setup

Thanks man, Its an 01...I got the very first bike that came in, the first year they were introduced...raced it for a couple years. It was like a race horse in its younger years, now its retired from that but it still has a hard life. Its strictly set up for stunt riding. I have a connection with that thing....dont think I can ever get rid of it.

Any problems with it?

I just got a 250 and I hear they have valve problems.

Re: stunts parts for drz400sm/rmz-450

the hondas are the only ones that seem to have problems, but i heard the new Yamaha (i forgot the year but I think its the 06) yz250f has problems with the valve stem snapping or something of that nature...the Honda CRF250 valve wont break but the valve face wears down subjecting the owner to keep replacing/adjusting the valves or getting steel valves. I just finished converting to steel valves in mine...BULLETPROOF. My 01 YZ250F has been flawless exept rod failure....but many of the earier year yz250fs would throw rods. ....ive heard of about 20 other cases. Yamaha has since fixed this problem. What bike did U get?

......oh I take it you have a kx250f? I think they had problems the first model year with valves and over heating issues. I think they are one of the 'better at holding up' 250 thumpers. I heard the 06 kx250f was nasty...

Re: stunts parts for drz400sm/rmz-450

yeah if you turn it into a motard you should not have valve problems like those people who race the piss out of them. I thought they (kx250f) had over heating problem in 04 but I may be wrong....all 250f's are good bikes if you maintain them...
