| Thinking of gettin a Motard Looking for suggestions. I Want something that i can make street legal or is already street legal from factory. Have been looking at CRF450R's and DRZ400SM's Obviosly with the honda i have to get it legalized and the suzuki is ready to go. Want to stunt it but be able to ride the streets. TIA ![]() |

| Re: Thinking of gettin a Motard depends on how much you want to spend--if your tight on cash get a tard thats ready to go used you will save tons of $$$. try the classifieds at http://www.supermotojunkie.com/ there are some sick deals in there right now. | Re: Thinking of gettin a Motard I do know that the street converted CRF450X models are having gearbox problems. Supposedly when going in a straight line for a long time the gear shafts dont get oil and the gears seize to the shafts. I know a couple people this has happened to and heard of many others. Some people run higher than normal oil heights to help with this but it still happens. It doesnt happen when your riding dirt because your always leaned over and the bumps splash oil on the shafts. |

| Re: Thinking of gettin a Motard most ktm can be made legal easily, They have the "good" title. Unlike a lot of the other brands it isnt offroad use only title so all you have to do is get the lights |
