way different world on a 400-450, hundo is super forgiving. I slipped the clutch a little to much in a circle and launched my bike 20 ft, and about 3 ft in the air From a 180 stoppie to circle in the wrong gear!

yea the DRZ is underpowered and all but when that thing lugs down and stalls into a mousetrap your goin for a ride, esp if it pop starts itself.

Bring it up real high, let it fall in, then throttle and clutch to spin it around. Stock gearing blows, but it is doable. Whatch out for the high side !!

Re: circling drz 400sm

The DRZ likes to bog due to the high speed gearing. I've done them but you need to slip the clutch a little. Not hard at all though

Re: circling drz 400sm

i've started doing circles on my crf450 bone stock knobbies and all...it just takes getting used to turn your idle up a little to help you get used to the clutch
