Cage or sliders, what options do I have?

Has anyone built a cage for a Crf 450 yet, or anything similar. I was thinking i only need sliders, but is that gonna be enough protection? Anyone got any ideas?

Case covers seem to be a problem area. I'm sure you already knew that though, duh, it's a problem area on ANY bike.
