You can just change the tyres if you like.

By all accounts, Avon Distanzias are brilliant if you can get them.

Wrong size as well...

You have a bigger, better selection of tires when you get the Motard Rims.

MX rims are easily strong enough. (loads of people stunt dirtbikes on stock rims - and look at what FMX fiders do to them!)

I'd change the tyres and see how you feel on them.

Gotta be a good option if you haven't the money to go and buy motard rims at the moment.

There are loads to choose from. Any motorcycle tyre fitter will be able to get them. Most will probably have them in stock.

There's a sportsmans class that runs alongside most supermoto championships, where riders use stock rims.

well, flattrackers run 19's all around, usually, ever look into getting rims laced to your stock hubs, cost a bit less.

Anyone else notice the topic???? a 2003 CRF250, 04 was the debut year. Suck it up and buy motard rims...tehy look cool and you can do more. Plus you can sell your stock wheels (not wise unless selling your bike with motard wheels is an option) and get some of your money back.

Re: Wanted: Motard Set Up For 2003 Crf250

If you have two sets of wheels (one dirt one motard), you'll be able to just swap em depending on where/what you're riding on. That is, of course, if you can afford it!

Takes a few minutes to swap your wheels. Takes several hours to change your tires! It all depends on how serious you are. If you plan to keep it all on the pave, then you might be better off just changing the tires.
