| Re: Just got a 2-stroke it's an old Enduro bike, and my Dad used to have plates for it, and it was street legal, cause most of his races would have small sections of road. So I know it used to be street legal, it does have a head light, and brake light. But I was sure a while back that the federal laws had changed saying no 2-strokes. If thats just my misconception. Wohoo!!!:YEAH After I get the lights working I'm gonna get a mirror, and horn. Is there anything else you'd think I needed to make it street legal? |

| Re: Just got a 2-stroke As long as you have a title you can get tags. If you don't have a title you'll need to get it inspected. Lights Horn Frame #s etc...

| Re: Just got a 2-stroke Best thing to do is check with your local state patrol office... Laws can change in each state year to year... In Ga up to about 1995 or so you could get a tag for some 4 wheelers... you can turn your dirt bike into a street legal bike if you meet your states reqirements on lights, signals, and horns, baja designs sells kits to do it, but you still have to take it and get it inspected at a state patrol station. If you have origianl title you shouldn't have a problem getting a tag. |

The difference between "I heard" and "they did" is pretty big. Take note that most scooters sold in the us are 2 stroke. Along with a slew of old bikes.
