First I am writing this Message and calling many riders to tell them the sad news.

This year there will not be any Stunt Show... There is nothing that we can do to solve this problem. The City of River Rouge Is 4 million dollars + in deficet. They are very close to having the state take over control of the city if there financial problems do not get fixed.

This is part of the reason for the show being cancelled this year.. not that the city could not afford to pay us.. I am sure we still would have dont the show.. But the problem is with riding insurance. Stunt Riding Insurance can easily cost $1000 or more for a day.. Last year AOB paid out of there pocket for insurance. But this year it is not physically possible... As with this the city has changed the fair from 4 days to 2 days.

There is some good news to all of this.. The new mayor that was just elected less than a month ago.. (hes still not sworn in yet.) The new Mayor is also AOB T-shirt sponsor. He owns Michigan Screen Print.

I have talked to many.. and they assure us that they loved the turn out last year and they are deply sad that they are in a finacial bind.. But they assure us that we will be there next year...
