Hey everyone...there's a gathering on the 6,7,8 of april in chicago that i'm pretty sure I'll be at and I would recomend as many people as possible for...should be the bomb biggidy...so as for a local big ride, that would be super, but we should move it back to the following weekend because I know alot of cats and kittens that will be wanting to make the 6,7,8 ride in chi-town too. Just my two cents...as for the mob mentality worries...we could just come up with some simple rules to keep everything all on the up and up because lord knows I don't like seeing twisted metal and friends on the side of the road anymore than anyone else but at the same time it is hard damned work for me to convince myself NOT to ride a freakin wheelie wherever we're going and to be honest, there is a list of people that i wouldn't feel nervous with doing wheelies near me while we're cruising down the highway. I gotta say, that's really where this whole stunting thing came from and some crazy highway shyt really gets the blood pumping and the adrenaline running and I also gotta say that I wouldnt mind running from the cops for any one of you all cats if I had to (i think a few of you should know what i'm talking about and a few of you I owe some props to for blocking the cops for ME while I was getting away.) It all has to be done smart, though...some street action is cool, but only if we have a controled group, this means people that we all know and trust...but if even ONE person has a problem with street action or TOO MANY people show up then the skill levels get all mixed up and that's when things get REAL dangerous...and I DONT SAY THIS TO BE A D**KHEAD....but if you got one person who can rock a highway wheelie at speed and stay stable and another guy behind him who sees him doing a standup and thinks that the guy in front is still accelerating because he hasn't developed the ability to hold speed perfectly, well you got yourself a serious problem that can develope realy quickly. In any case...I feel just as mixed as anyone else, but I would hate to show up and end up rocking some wheelies with a big old smile, just to pull over with the rest of the group all pissed at me...so my suggestion is this:
limit the group size and skill level OR
make it as big as you want and make the rule: no stunting on the street...and if someone does, leave em behind

anyone have any ideas? Damnit...now I've gone and sounded like the uptight guy...someone throw me a beer
