Wreckless driving in a parking lot -Court appearance

Update:

I went to court on Monday, and I still got fined... However, I guess it could have been worse...

They let me go on a nolo contendere (which from what I hear means no points on my Drivers license)

They also charged me a fine of 200 Bucks

The judge just chuckled when I told him I was on a closed course in a parking lot with permission from security, and went through My shpeil...

Another dude also had a wreckless and got a 1000 busck fine, lost his license for 4 months and 6 months of probation... So I guess it could have been worse... but still sucked!

I could have plead not guilty, got another court date, hired a lawyer, spent a few thousand, just to prove a point... But I am too cheap for that and dont have the time...

So no matter how you look at it... the law will bend you over... just because they can!

Truer words rarely spoken... Be careful though, you can only plead nolo like once every 5 years. Glad to hear it wasnt worse though.

take it from someone who has gotten many wreckless drivings in my younger days.

pleading nolo is only saying that you are not admitting to the crime
