Lakeland Stuntwars - Events & Stunt Competitions

Sorry if there is already an article about this. I searched and couldn't find one. I live in Lakeland and the newspaper this week they said that the track has been sold and the last car race is there tonight and its getting turned into an industrial park. I was just wondering if this would effect Stuntwars.

the drag strip is on the property we always been at, its where it all began.. not as big, but good and long...

i didnt say owned, i said on the same property, meaning if you cant find it, either your not there or just fukin blind, its dead ahead coming in main enterance... chea.....

heard this a few months back come time for stunt wars it will be a parking lot..... guess darius is going to win this year hahahaha

if its not at the dragstrip, they are talking about having it at speedworld in Orlando, aka O-TOWN.

like Mr. durty made point to express to all of us his talent of keeping up with floridas commercial property ownership, NO< ITS NOT OWNED BY SAME PEOPLE, but being they share same property, not really but they are that close, like 2 feet away, eventually whatever gets put in place of the track, will overcome the dragstrip, and eventually that too will crumble... hell, its like forty years old anyway...

I have also heard about the next stunt wars event to be first week end in oct. 2008. But have unable to find out where...? On the stuntwars.com site it says oct 3-5 2008 tickets coming soon is all it said. No information of any specific information. Has any one heard or seen anything?

When i went to stuntoberfest.com it brought me to the stuntwars.com Right? If so then that is the site I had already found, doesn't tell you anything more than tickets coming soon. It says lakeland fl oct 3-5 but not where or any thing specific.

Anyone else?

Seems odd for such a popular event there is very little if any information out there. It less than two months away......?

They're probably trying to secure a new location. Calm down, it's almost 2 months away.

as of right now, october 5th is the main event.

its typically $15-$20 to get in i believe

gates open 9-10ish

and its at the drag strip.

there, now we have a base line. all above info will be updated as more info is available. until then this is correct

So back to the classic? This is good news! Nothin is like the old lakeland dragstrip with everybody chilling out that first week. Good times ahead!

FYI, its NOT gonna be at the dragstrip, and its oct 3-5, its gonna be at speedworld in ORLANDO... NO SENSE REPLYING WITH FALSE INFO... Its supposed to be a better facility anyways, and its in a much better city, more lots to meet at and other things to do when not at the event..
