how do you do them? do you need a back brake?

well.....for me its sorta hard to explain how to do circles but yes u have to have a backbrake....just like any wheelie

I agree... but it seems like some of the members on this forum hardly use brakes. I think I use mine too much, but I'd like to hear what others think???

hmm i dont use brake much when i do circles


but when you do circles you have to be good tires! like my tires or tomis or turbo:s tires

Yeah... I don't use much brake while doing circle wheelies either. My statement above was for my regular wheelies. I think I rely on the brake too often when I should be more balanced.

As for tires... I don't necessarily agree with you on that one. I've done circle wheelies with knobbies, slicks and a variation of tire sizes. It's all about what you're most comfortable with IMO.

but whit slicks you can do much smaller circles! and thats the truth

hmm ... I onely use the back break when i do sit downs but i dont even touch it while doing stand ups...

Talking bout stand ups, i never see people doing stand up circles ?? ... Post some pics if u guys have any.

i try to coaster 30% of my circle at a time.. then that allows me to pull it in tighter. yess
its ovbious to me u need rear break . a good sound knowledge of it

I dont use the brake on my XR100 much for circles. I learned them on axle pegs.

You should first be able to clutch up from a standstill and walk behind the bike without brake first (on XR100). You should be much much higher than on your avatar
