Judging from your avatar... you seem to be an accomplished rider. Why would you want to start pedaling now? Chicks dig stunt riders!

first of all, i know this is someone else under manubi's account cause this has happened before, but i'll asnwer you anyway.

go get yourself a decent bike, roughly $200-250 should get you something decent, you can do what i did and get a $75 walmart bike tho, a good bike is a diamondback hard rock. roughly $360 for your bottom line model.

second is get yourself a street tire for the rear. i suggest the maxxis hookworm(best bicycle tire ever made IMHO). it's gonna cost about $50 for just one tire and tube, but when you put it on and try it out you'll understand.

tire pressure is the oppisite for bicycles, it's harder t bring a wheelie up with low pressure, but it will be very stable. i like a higher to medium pressure, if you have really high pressure circles will want to fall in and out more, lower pressure and they won't want to turn nearly as much.

Re: Thinking about starting up

pete. i agree with you on tyre pressures, for some reason ive always run below medium, for the slow stuff it has helped, but i hadnt done circles or real fast wheelies untill the other day, and nearly lost the back end lol. Which feels scary when its the only thing on the deck lol
Front PSI??? Who gives a ****!

Well many would think the same as your many....
The ones in your many should try it themselves, well, they probally have, but cant, so they would rather just slag it off.
We have lots of people like that round here, people who cant wheelie their road bikes so they hate anyone who can, and think it is totally unacceptable.
I have a MX bike and a pushbike, i dont hate pushbike stunting:YEAH
