| Supercross race & Super Motard Track Day May 17th & 19th WOW! What a weekend! I made the trip up to Hawkeye downs this past weekend to race on Sat. night. It was a blast! I realized very quickly in practice that I'm not in moto shape like I once used to be! haha My arms became pumped within 1-2 laps! Despite the abuse and lack of stamina I rode rather well. Finishing overall in 8th place. Following the races Sat night we made the 6 hr drive to HPT on Sunday for the Freedom Cycle / Tucker Rocky track day on Monday! My body was still aching from the moto's on Saturday but after some stretching and the 1st session, adrenaline kicked in and I was good to go. I put in some hard laps during the morning sessions and unfortunately blew a head gasket on the 450 just after lunch! I had a feeling this was going to happen, we just rebuilt the motor a few days before and I knew banging it off the rev-limiter in 5th gear wasn't going to be proper break in procedure!
