did you use a sled hammer? this looks bad.

 

no a rubber mallet ...and the only part that didnt come out smooth is gonna be completly cover by the camo grip i use, so i didnt care i just tryed to get is as low as i could without distorting the gas cap area causeing it to leak .....the lip of the tank is actually really even and smooth......and thats all i care about...i have better things to do to my bike then sit there for hours getting every crease out like i did b4 only to take 10 seconds to cover it up with my grip stuff never to be seen again...... and i rode with this tank the whole time my other fairing were at paint.. and the dent is ****.. .i really like how clean hawco an jonne j are but i really dont like where there dents position your body and weight on the bike.......i have one thats almost an identical dent to jonne j ill get a pic if i can...i ran it for like 3 days and took it off cuz when murk walking to jump to 50/50 it t-bone your bonch/******* if you land wrong....almost caused me to eat ****..........

 

ya man maybe u need to practice more on your technique u got Tnukka lurkin and a swede and a canuck all with better dents on their FIRST r6 tank......


and your right ive never dented a r6 tank, but everybody i know who has one had theirs turn out better than that ****

 

you didnt listen to what i said...my first 2 tanks came out great..this tank i didnt feel like wasteing the time

I'm pretty positive I read a post yesterday about this bike being stolen, anyone know anything about it??

I read that their stunt team trailer with the bikes in it were stolen.. along with the truck it was attached to as well, I do believe.

it was stolen along with a 636 and a hole lot of other ****. but the cops found it in the back of a truck and got the r6 and the 636 back.. this is now my stunt piece for the year. thanks hawco :P

 

yeap it was stolen last summer myself and my team stopped for the night at a hotel woke up and our 2500HD chev truck 24ft enclosed trailer 4 sportbikes, a 50 and a whole lot of merch and gear and personal stuff were stolen, but we managed to get that 4 sportbikes back

 

Its awesome nice pressure and feels great

This is my 2008 R6. Nothing special. Changed a few pieces to black to get the half and half look. Up 2 in the rear. Fun as hell on the streets.

nope thats original man...how long did it take

 

not sure..a friend of mine did it as a favor...he does surfboards normally and just resins over it thats why i have to take it to my painter to get a clear coat..but i get that for free as well just got to do alot of running around...i do know i gave my friend my fairing one the 27th and he called me to come get them on the 5th
