rims, what looks better, polished lip or powder coated

hey, i got a 01 R6, stock silver frame and its going to be painted blue kind of like the new 350Z blue if you know what that is. sooo should i polish the lip on the stock rims or powder coat them silver?
what would look better?

Scratches down both sides, and a scrap bar out back.

Chrome wheels ... or polish the lips and powdercoat the rest with the same color as the frame or bike......

**** polishing - chrome so they can chip and crack, or leave them stock

I polished mine. Although they look great (cause I spent a LOT of time on them) they are a pain to keep up. Go for powdercoat, less maintence.
