lost a good guy

today in elyria, ohio, on the annual penton honda fun run we lost a good guy...a guy named Matt who rode a gixxer 1000 was probally have the best day of his life riding with a huge pack and doing stand-ups and tank wheelies for us all...well, from what ive heard on his last one he came down at 100+++ and went into a tank slapper...unfortunatly he hit a guard rail and flew aprox. 60-75ft over a ravine and hit his head on a tombstone....my buddy was there a few mins after it happened and held his legs down so he couldnt move....his accident happened in probally the worst posible spot it could have...i thought for sure he would survive since he was talking (it didnt make any sense but he was still saying things) and moving his arms and legs...they life flighted him to cleveland metro and did emergency surgery but he didnt survive...he was a really nice guy to anyone, ive never seen someone who loved and lived to ride like this guy....its not fair how quick lives change...sorry ive ramble this into one paragraph but i cant even make sense in my own head right now, let alone to write on here....everyone just be careful

Re: lost a good guy

no disrespect intended whatsoever, but its kind of ironic that a tombstone killed him

RIP Matt

Re: lost a good guy

Didn't know him but almost came out for that ride. I heard about it later that day. Completely heartbreaking, and sobering at the same time. I know this is a stunters board and I and working on it myself so I can't knock it. Just please be careful all. Also I know everyone preaches this all the time, but please wear your gear. Take care and ride safe.
