Cool Re: Fallen CT rider, police dont care

Hello. This is actually the first time i have answered to a sl thread. New here. This thread caught my eye and i am now so disgusted with the patrol department and also the state that lets this happen . I viewed the literature that was posted in the very first beginning thread , and to think that any one would try to defend this officer is beyond me. The meer fact of A 911 caller being hung up on is such a blatant display of disregard for individual lives .

The article had said the caller had to call three times and hung up on twice . In the second phone call the officer said it was taken care of and hung up again . omg . The third phone call the officer said he would send someone over there . This means the officer lied in the second phone call . He did not "Take care of any thing" in that call . It took a third call to get him to send an ambulance TO A MOTOR CYCLE ACCIDENT WHO IS BADLY INJURED . These actions are un excusable .

There should not be a suspension . There should be an immediate dismissal .

As if the story could not get any worse , the article had stated that the union was in process of filing a greviance in behalf of the officer because he was suspended for 15 days . I am simply appalled that any unoin member would file or sign for that matter a petition of this nature . If this statement is true about the greviance filing , it will forever change the way i see unions and what uneccassary powers that they can get away with .

The State and the Government has to step into this one because it involves everyone in America . Everyone that gets into a car (including passengers)and drives on a tax paying street . We do pay for 911 service dont we ? Then we should get the assistance we deserve in times of serious need .

I noticed this thread was started in March . Is it to late to sign this petition ? Because i want to sign it twice if i can .

Deepest Sympathies to the families of the lost son .

(new) Stunt life member David Torres .
