Unhappy I almost died yesterday

hey everybody well I have got some bad news my bike was totaled yesterday and I almost died.

I was coming over the top of a hill when a car plled out of a subdivision and blocked both lanes of the road. I tried to stop the bike but the back tire locked up and I slammed into the front driverside quarterpanel of the car and I went flying over the hood of the car andlanded on the road. the said I hit the winsheld of the car with my helment. because the windsheild had two shattered spots on the driver side. well any way my bike is completely totaled. when the bike hit the car and i went over the hood the bike must have flipped over backwards because the front of the bike was facing the hill and I was on the other side of the car.

Ihad all my gear on and that was the only thing that saved my life.I have a broken collar bone and I am damn sore but at least I am alive. just thought I would share my latest crash story for you.

anyway I am going to go take some photos of my bike today after I go back to the doctor and I will upload them so yall can see them to.

Damn dude, glad you're ok. Cage drivers are even worse this time of year because they don't even think of a bike being on the road........oh wait, that's year round. Hope you have a good recovery, and maybe you'll be up and running by March for that Gap trip.

Scarey Shit !!! Happened to me a while back ... Broadsided a full sized stationwagon with 9 people in it. Hands went thru the back windows and I went over the top. Couldn't walk for 2 weeks.
As much as we look out for the "4 wheeled demons" They seem to find us... HELMETS ... saved you, me and are Friends.
Glad you're OK... And still able to post.
