On my 06 600 the fan used to come on around 210 or 212 I think. I dont know why your fan would come on at 80 Doesnt make sense to me. When I'm over 220 or 225 I usually ride around slow and let the bike cool down that way or you can just park it for a few minutes. But at 200 youre okay for a few IMO.

ride around in sixth to get air across the radiator and never shut the bike off when it is super hot always ride it a little to cool it off

i guess my new bike comes on just to check itself to make sure its all good but it does come on around 75 or so just for a few seconds and not again untill it gets really hot. cant remem cause i have not been on the new one long enough to heat it up since last summer

Re: OMR SUBCAGE subframe cage

Yeah youre good til 220 like OMR said. Once youre that high do what he said to cool it down. When I see anything over 225 is when I start to get worried but I think you can still ride it for a few to cool it down even at that temp.

Thats strange. Try using a proxy site to see if it works. Might be vista too. Did you always have vista on it and were you able to log in using vista initially?

I would re route the coolant res. I dont think its really necessary but it looks like shit like that. I was gonna do it on my old gix but then sold it. I did spray paint it black so it blended in better instead of being so noticeable and shitty looking Hows your wheelies coming along?

Neal, had to reply before i wnt to the shed. i have the bottle taken off and a soap dispenser from sears put on there. will get some pics of the new and improved progress.

My wheelies suck, got paranoid about the engine temp and went home. I spent some time getting used to the moose easy pull and pizza sprocket. trying to grow a set and keep it up higher longer.

Do what I told you. Its not the only way to get to bp but its what helped me. Once you know how far back that bar is, everything gets a little easier. Be careful and take your time bro. Season is just starting so you got time.
