| FI vs Powers Bike Worx ok, I know there's a whole lot of guys on this site that are infatuated with the FI cage. So heres my point. I stunt quite a bit, high chairs, on the tank spreaders, etc. Basically I'm as big a fan of stuntin as I am of knee downs around town. I want to buy a cage but FI's just eats up a lot of lean angle. So I've checked out the others, 905 and Powers. I really have my heart set on the Powers but damn if you guys haven't almost sold me on an FI . All I really want to know is, are the stuntas out there with 905's and Powers' as pleased as ALL the FI customers? Do they work as well? I know the lower on the FI is removable but damn if every time we hit the twisties I have to air my tire and pop off a chunk of cage. By the way, sorry about the got damn novel. |

| Re: FI vs Powers Bike Worx i have a powers bike cage on my 900...i love it for what i do. but then again i only use the 900 for stuntin, not for hittin the twistiez. i use my 600RR for that. no complaints on the cage so far, but the top stunnas in the country all use the F.I. cage...somethin to think about peace |

| Re: FI vs Powers Bike Worx ALL cages will decrease cornering clearance. the FI cage is easily removeable in pieces so that you can switch real easy...i think most other cages require complete disassebly before they can be removed-ie, they may be mounted in motormount/subframe mounts... the FI cage does not require complete disassembly to find more lean angle... teach

| Re: FI vs Powers Bike Worx I have nothing but positive about 905... I'm a nobody, but the other day my cage was rattling at about 6-7k rpms from a wreck i'd had (the bar running through the shock mint had got warped a bit). I called aaron asking about it "ship it back and I'll either fix it or make you a new one for free". I fixed it myself eventually, but when you got a company backing their cages that much... well. |

| Re: FI vs Powers Bike Worx im really not biased towards any manufacturer but my 905 has been seriously beat down, anyone i ride with will tell you. multiple drops from 12 all the time and nothing ever breaks besides front plastics. i saw a gsxr1k at the spot this weekend go down with a powers cage(first time i've ever seen one of those cages) and it got completely hammered, i mean like pretzel status. ![]()

| Re: FI vs Powers Bike Worx Matt at powers bike worx is a road racer and said you would tuck the front before the cage would scrape for corners...for the people wondering about cages and cornering clearances.....
