![]() | Re: 600rr stuntbike? Not to agree or disagree with anyone here but facts are facts 1. MD600 asked a valid question that he needs answered 2. People bitch and disagree too much 3. Most comments are opinionated rather than based on fact (I said MOST, not all) 4. New bikes have more power, in their respected class, than older, obviously 5. New bikes are built for speed, lower to the ground and race oriented (position of ryder....) Lets state facts by backing up what you are saying. I think if you mod the 600RR with better gearing it will be fine. There is the whole Carb/FI debate here also but everyone has their preference. Since I haven't rode one, this is only theory not fact. Please stop BSing and lets learn from one another. You all have good points but place blame on others too much. I respect you all... Scoop |

![]() | Re: 600rr stuntbike? Actually keeping the front wheel down is an objective made by manufacturers, the mere fact is the truth, more power does not mean more wheelies, yes of course any sportbike is capable of wheelies, but my point I am trying to emphasise are on todays motorcycles the front end weight is concentrated in order to move the CG closer to the ground for better handling, which obviously conveniently includes wheelies, even if the top 4 Jap makers didn't release a pamphlet saying "Hey we are out to abolish wheelies this year" It is just that older deltabox frames are wider and distribute mass more evenly, which helps make it wheelie friendly. Take my 95 RR if you are a good "stunter" and then take a shitbox 600 RR then try to wheelie that bitch easier than mines. Take a damn physics class and never call science bs. then throw in the better handling of newer bikes, their balance, throttle response, better stock clutches, and power delivery and see which is easier to ride out. Just cuz you've taken a class or two won't make you a professor. ![]() |

And second, keep in mind, wheelies are only one part of stunting.

With regards to wheelies only being one part of stunts, in my observation, the wheelies occupy the majority of "tricks" done, and you cannot deny that, look at all the different variations of wheelies, look on the How to Stunt forum and notice half the page has to do with help with different versions of wheelies. Look at 10 stunt videos, and unless it is the occasional "Stoppie Madness," more than 80% of the running length is devoted to wheelies. I was commenting wheelie wise as you can see from my first post, now you are grabbing for filler to argue with me by talking about stoppies, when we both know that yes, stock brakes get undeniably more endo-friendly every single year.

![]() | Re: 600rr stuntbike? i had one almost all of last summer. i have had 3 900RRs, a 954, new r1, rode new gixxers, i have got a chance to stunt about about every kind of bike there is out there, and my 600RR i had last summer was probally my favorite bike i have ever rode. they are sweet. they are sooooooo well balanced, PLENTY of power, looks sweet as shit, and its a honda. although, i think my 954 comes ina close second. if you can get that bike for 4500 theny ou better had jump on it. if you dont, then hit me up and i will come buy it. i would love to have another one. only compaint i had for it was that i couldnt find a good place to mount a cage. im sure its possible. there is pobally manufactuers taht make cages for them now. this is my opinion. i have owned a 600rr......... pm me if you have anymore ??????? |

![]() | Re: 600rr stuntbike? All it really means is that cg is changed, which means that the balance point,or what ever people are calling it these days,is changed. I have seen several people, including a good friend stunt one, and they say that it is different, but just great for stunting. The radial brakes are a little grabby. This is the biggest complaint. Almost the same power as a 900rr in a leaner frame. what is wrong with that. People have been stunting 600's for a long time, and they are not getting that much slimmer and more centered to make a real difference. Do you think? ![]() |
