I just bought a 99 zx-9r for $2800. All it needs is a front upper and the 2 mid fairings. I would like to know what are good tricks for these bikes? I heard that wheelies and stoppies are pretty fun on thes but what do u guys think? Oh and i know u guys **** on the green company but i don't care. :YEAH

thanks saw thepics and thanks for the reply on the tl1000r about 12 bar. the tank on mine is chromed and pre dented they did a good job on the top makes it look factory. but the sides been beat up a little so that sucks. Do u know where i can find the front upper fairing and the 2 mid fairings for a 99 zx-9r? any help would be good, and i check ebay daily. I might head to K.C. this summer my brother lives there don't know yet but will let K.C. know before i go. Is there a lot of riders there?

 

Yeah there are quite a few riders here. The best thing for ZX9 parts is just keep checkin ebay. The ZX9 is not as popular as the other models so finding parts is a little harder. Just so you know the side panels from 98-01 should fit your bike but the upper from 00 on is different.

 

i just have the same problem with mine 99 zx 9. the tank was broken after a few X-over tricks, but not enough with that! after every show i had to change my pants, cause they were soaked (hope that´s the right word) with gasoline. the parts are not easy to find in ebay just as kcTony has been told, but the bike is smart to wheelie and endo. just for longer endo´s i think you have to get a steering damper. i have weldet a piece of aluminium in my tank. will post a pic soon. maybe that works better. we´ll see.

Yeah thanks for the replys, the previous owner never had a problem with gas from doing high chairs. dunno but i only plan on doing wheelies and endos but that's what i say now.

I got a tail section for tha bike ... its red... and got some lil scratches on one side.... u can have it if u pay for the shipping... i dont need it..

If the body work off a zx6r would work im not sure if it does but i have all kinds of body work for a zx6r

Front upper that i know of works on 98-99

The mids work on 98-02
