and if you are running vortex or any other clipon flipped and turned out you are getting the same advantage as db bars just not quite as high/pulled back. Bottom line is building a stunt bike is all about changing things. like john said, the list of changes the average stunter makes on a bike means its no where near its stock form. Just ride it like you stole it no matter what you rock. :YEAH

Ya I hate that shit

every squid in my town that does power wheelies at highway speeds, thinks the only reason I can do a controlled slow wheelie are my 'pizza pan sprockets and stunt bars'

I love getting on my friends bone stock 636 and just rocking a nice 15mph wheelie, always gets people to shut up

Re: MX bars VS clip ons

MX bars but if you want to be able to switch the bar height pretty quick, the Gilles Variobars and Risers are awesome just a bit pricey though. I had them on my gixxer fighter and would just swap out the risers in 5 minutes when I hit the tracks.

I love the LSL setup but its pricey. You can also get the Driven Racing Top Risers and Handlebars cheap.

Re: MX bars VS clip ons

I've been building up my fighter for about 8-9 months or so and finally got to ride it today. I went with the MX bars and I love them. So much more comfy with less weight on wrists and I can really throw the bike around now. Changes direction so quick it's almost scary. I don't think I could ever go back to clip-ons.

its the only triple out that you can switch between clipons(on top of the tripple) and dirt bars without making changes to ride height.

mx bars are better for me had stock clip ons turned out and they were hard on the wrists and didnt like the riding position seems uncomfortable to me leaning over the bike. with the mx bars im in a more upright position and my wrists have thanked me for it
