Question Sliders or Cage

Trying to decide what would be most effective. Give me some feedback on what is better. How many of you have busted a motor mount or some part of the motor regardless of having SLIDERS or CAGE. Specify the one that broke the part, Sliders or Cage.

A cage will give you more protection all around, seen too many sliders brake off and just cause more damage.
Peace

If you use sliders, when you crash you will likely bend them over and risk stripping out your motor mounts. A cage has more than one mounting point (except the F.I.), so that is less likely to happen.
If you are deciding fi cage or sliders, then my opinion is that they are the same.

don't know how many times i have to say this...

905 cage = NO DAMAGE IN A CRASH.

sliders don't do shit for real stunters that are learnin shit and don't protect case covers, rearsets, or bars!!!

extended sliders do more damage than they protect. Do like the others said and get some real armor

depends on the bike too. R1's respond pretty well to long sliders.. you can drop them hard onto the side from 12 and even with a bent bolt the case/clutch do not touch. your mileage may vary. i would reccomend 905's cages tho.. from what i've seen they are damn nice.

also, if you need to ask about getting a cage, be prepared to F your bike up.. if you're asking that question, you're headed down the "no longer mint" bike path.

last season i finally got around to locking up 12's so i crashed alot

sliders are fine for all stunting other than 12 tricks cause you crash a ton ...alot while learning..

i crashed prolly 10-20 times while doing random shit and never had a problem with sliders last year i went through 3 sets so **** sliders pay the cash get a good cage and a first aide kit
