| Trying to decide what would be most effective. Give me some feedback on what is better. How many of you have busted a motor mount or some part of the motor regardless of having SLIDERS or CAGE. Specify the one that broke the part, Sliders or Cage. Holla Back ![]() |

| A cage will give you more protection all around, seen too many sliders brake off and just cause more damage. Peace |

| If you use sliders, when you crash you will likely bend them over and risk stripping out your motor mounts. A cage has more than one mounting point (except the F.I.), so that is less likely to happen. If you are deciding fi cage or sliders, then my opinion is that they are the same.

| depends on the bike too. R1's respond pretty well to long sliders.. you can drop them hard onto the side from 12 and even with a bent bolt the case/clutch do not touch. your mileage may vary. i would reccomend 905's cages tho.. from what i've seen they are damn nice. also, if you need to ask about getting a cage, be prepared to F your bike up.. if you're asking that question, you're headed down the "no longer mint" bike path.
