How long untill I'm scrapin

I know that everybody learns at a different rate but how long did it take you or how long do you think it would take a new stunner to go from never pulling a wheelie to being able to ride a standup highway wheelie for miles. Also how long till new stunner being able to do a wheelie down a street going 15 to 30mph. last but definitely most important how long till this person will be able to scrape and park it with confidence. This person has 9 to 5 but would be practicing whenever the weather permits.....

There's way too many factors to put that in.....it could take you 6 months to a few years, just take it at a comfortable pace. Oh yeah..........be ready to wreck and good luck

how ever long it takes. i know of people who still cant scrape after 2 seasons, i know (well) a bud who got 3 circle in his first session of trying them. try stunting, if you honestly like it, then good for you, if not, find a new hobby

it's all in how much u practice, who u practice with, and ur overall ability...it took me 2 weeks just to learn how to do a stand up down the road but after that everything came quite easily...when i put my bar on it took me about an hour to hit and prolly 2 or 3 days to hit it consistantly and w/ confidence.

ahh, about 5-6... hours

nah, a new rider should be worried more about being comfortable on the bike rather then doing wheelies !

the more comfortable you are riding on the streets with two wheels on the ground, the more comfortable you will be with one wheel...

not trying to discourage you, but it's true, you can't wheelie a bike if you can't ride one on two wheels

Don't look so far down the road, you'll never be happy looking at something so far away that it's like a dot.

Learn some basics, get some skillz, then when you work on the slow stuff, a few seasons down the road, it won't look like crashfest 2003.

Did most of you guys have dirtbikes then bought street bikes or just straight to the streetbike. I would think dirt bike then street bike could make the learning faster to.

I rode dirt from the time i was about 8 i guess. Got my first streetbike on my 18th birthday, kept it for a about a year, and Bought the 1000 about 4 months ago. Learning on a dirtbike helps a lot when you jump on something fast on the street.
