ok I don't want to sound dumb but I have a 2001 zx6r with mods I want to set it up for stuntin over the winter I can get enough parts to make it stunt ready but there a little harder to find they have all sorts of parts for the 636 however. I personaly cant tell em appart without lookin at the vin tag. every1 tells me if i'm seriouse about stuntin to sell the zx6r n get a 636. I'm a total newby to stuntin so I gotta ask whats the differance? should I really switch?

01 carbed, 03 636 FI thats enough right there. sell it. limited parts, things huge, turd power, carbed, etc etc and no idea how you think there the same other than vins, theres not a single part on the 636's that even looks remotely close to that of an 01 zx6r. sell it and buy an F4I or 636 to learn on and destroy. once you go FI you'll never own another carbed bike in your life

well its officialy on craigslist next ? 636 or f4i and what year is best? hate to sound dumb but its the 4th bike this year i've bought on impulse and later sold. i've always been a car guy til june when i got on a bike for the first time instant addict. I'm a natural on a bike or so i've been told and come spring i'm spendin every seconed of my spare time on my bike in some abandoned parking lot. so this time i want to get it right.

f4i is a gd learner. great balance point. never had 636

636 or f4i are both great bikes to learn on...both have thier pros and cons but overall you cant loose with either of them...mostly it comes down to personal preferance and what you all plan on doing...no matter what eventually it will come down to your set up...

01-03 f4i or 03/04 636. 636s are better overall but eventually youll wanna do a front end swap for an 05/06 front end cuz 03/04s break if you do a lot of stoppies. f4i has a junk front end thats telescopic but either will be fine till you get into learning stoppies.
