i have an 05 gsxr 600 and the secondary throttle valve servo is fucked, so i went to ride now to see how much it would be to pick one up and they want 900 bucks for the whole throttle body, but i was told i can just keep the butterfly valves permanently open to fix the problem but lose some bottom end??!! soo idk if theres an easy way to fix it. and im prolly sayin some **** wrong cuz im still learning all the **** soo i do apologize

ebay. or gixxer.com you can find cheaper throttle bodies than that. i picked up a set for my 636 for like 50 dollars.

there is a guy that repairs the motor for around a 100 bucks on gixxer.com in the meantime you can remove the secondary butterflies and ride it like that . as far as losing bottom end i did it to my 750 it only made a big difference when in the wrong gear . kinda like using flatslide carbs but you are too young too know anything about that

I was joking, I don't gank bikes, I sell LoJack at my dealership, and laugh my *** off when some dumbass gets a bike on the HSBC credit card, pays 23.99% interest (so he owes more after 3 months of payments then he did the day he left the dealership) doesn't get insurance and refuses to add LoJack even though Texas (and California) are the biggest states for motorcycle theft (because Mexico is right ******* there) and then come back with a picture of their bike on a flyer asking if we've seen their bike. I tell them the same thing........"other than the frame, I'm sure you can buy your bike back one piece at a time if you are the highest bidder"
