600rr on F4i

I remember reading about how 50slut had done it, and others had loved it..
Would like to put an 06 and up 600RR front end on my F4i so I am assuming I will need simply,
Front Rotor
Front Rim
Forks Lower Triple
HoHey Upper Tripple
Dirt Bike bars mounted into my HoHey

am i missing anything? other small parts I don't know about, will I need to get 600RR rotors for both sides as well? not very mechnically inclined and this will be my first front end I have done. thanks.

Re: 600rr on F4i

The rotors too right?
Will these work?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2007-...Q5fAccessories

and can I take those that are off an 07, and put them on 06 year forks? rim? etc... mix and match. i will stay between 06 and 09.

Re: 600rr on F4i

So
07 Front Rotors
06 Rim
06 Forks
06 Triple (bottom and upper)
06 Fender
06 Calipers

and I'm 100% good to go?
do I HAVE to get the HoHey triple or can I use the existing one that is included in the front end?

Re: 600rr on F4i

But I can get a full 954 front end for $430 shipped, and full 600rr front end for $390 (not shipped) -- without rotors, just don't know what I should do.

bojangles is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: 600rr on F4i

i would go with the 600rr front because of the radial mount calipers vs. the 954 with the same calipers as the f4i

I just got the rest of the parts I need to put a pair of 06 RR forks on my F4i and I'm really looking forward to the radial brakes!

The 954 has the biggest brakes of any streetbike. I doubt the radial mounts are any better.

once you have radial mount you can use 954 rotors , all you have to do is shim out the calipers. i have a 600rr on my f4i and i like it . personally if i had the opp. to do it all over i would do the r6 front end

CAN you do that? i mean shits crazy, i didn't know you could take a R6 front end and put it on an F4i... shit I would rock an 07 R6 front end, they are nasty at stoppies. your telling me it would just bolt right up?

im thinking of just sticking with the 600RR route and hopefully it's better doing a stoppie than on a stock F4i.

its not a bolt up .idk what is involved with the swap but havn longer tubes and a 50mm tube give you more options .

Re: 600rr on F4i

Think I'm gonna get the 06 600RR front end off the guy on here, 07 600RR rotors off eBay, and as for the upper tripple... the HoHey 929/954 upper tripple (thats what it shows on the HoHey page for the F4i) will allow the 600RR front end to work flawlessly right? I run DB bars. Will all this work good?

Thanks again.
