not sure what the prob. is the bike sat for 2 months was fine 2 months ago and now i just rode it and i get almost like a skip in 2nd and only 2nd but only under hard acceleration other than that the bike is perfect in all other gears, it does it at all temp ranges, im not sure what it is no fi light flashing or nothing 1st gear wheelies are still mint but no 2nd gear anybody got any ideas? thanks for your help

 

just took out the power commander and still f?cked up in 2nd, anybody anything before this whole bike ends up in pieces?

 

does it pop out of 2nd?? under acceleration?

 

sounds like it may be an issue with the exhaust valve at the end of the header. If thats not functioning properly it would create a power loss. I dont know how this is diagnosed, I think it has to be done at a Honda dealer?

 

nah it doesn't pop out of gear, its almost like the bike skips for a second between 4-7 k but only under hard acceleration and only in 2nd no codes nothing according to the manuel it might be the ecm im gonna try my other one in this bike but im not sure if that would only screw up 2nd gear

 

i have a 954 tranny for cheap...............

 

how much ? do you have the whole motor?

 

yes i have the whole motor minus the crank. Its all disassembled.

 

i think you only need the tranny
