i can finally 12!
i can finally 12!
we went out sunday afternoon and i was hell bent on 12ving my bike. After about 30 minutes i finally touched down and nailed it. Since then i've been doing them like crazy. These are so awsome to do. I can't ride them out though. I tried to drag far but i got squirly and had to set it down.
So, what's next? what do i do with the clutch, do i have to pull the clutch in to ride them out longer or what? also, how do i keep side to side balance better on those high slow wheelies.
here are 2 vids, more will be on our website.

Technique- As soon as you get PAST the balance point pull the clutch in with your pointer finger and just LEAN back. If you feel you are about to lose control, keep the clutch pulled in as long as possible to keep the bike damage to a minimum.
Or you can be like the majority of us and learn the hard way

. To ride it you just gotta stay steady on the gas and use the brake to control your wheelie. Lower the pressure in your tire a bit and just use your body to steer... lean fowards and backwards, side to side.. whatever it takes to correct for it. Just takes practice
everything that nags, kyle, brock, matt, chaunc, ect... have taught me was. clutch it up, lock the wrist and let your rear brake control the height....but then again i have no bike to practice this on.
Jimmy send yours down so i can practice....
