Re: F4i Vs. 636

I ride an 02 f4i. My boy rides on 03 636. His has way more bottom end torque at this altitude. That shouldn't matter where you are though. Unless humidity ***** with bikes. I wouldn't know. And they are both great stuntbikes. Just feel different. If you have friends with bikes, see what's more to your liking. Jump on theirs and move around a bit. Stand staggered and see if you like the feel of the rear peg. Imo, staggered is the easiest way to start. But I learned on an f3. Anything is fun to learn on. Just beef it up right so you don't have to spend a ton on fixin **** all the time.

Re: F4i Vs. 636

Since this is your first stunt bike theres no question = f2,f3,f4,f4i
They can take abuse like no other, hands down.
636 has more issues. You crash one to many times and the frame (03-04) will crack.

gixxers have a repuataion for breakin alot as stuntbikes..at laest that what i've heard about the newer ones

the frames arent so strong

i ride an 02 f4i..i originally wanted a 03-04zx636 but i foud this f4i all minty for 2500 so i bought it

(for the guy who started the thread)the f4i is very strong tho..i'd get one of those first cuase your just starting to stunt..and you gonna crash time and time again..the f4i will crash and start right back up every time

Re: F4i Vs. 636

F4i .....strong as hell frame and subframe. good rock solid motor shitty front end and brakes lots of available parts a little weak in the power department but nice and smoothe power delivery

636.... lots of low end torque, good brakes and front end, weak frames and rearsets, lots of aftermarket/stunt goodies they seem to have more maintince issues.

I would say start with the f4i its super strong frame and motor mean less downtime and more wheelies

Thanks motor is not really what im worried about.. Well it matters but not as much as the fact about frame problems. How big of a issue is it with the 636?
