Also, anytime you have ball in hand you don't need to place it behind the line unless it's on the break. You can put it anywhere on the table. Bar rules are BS, everyone plays different.

thats how I like to play as well but most people assume that what you hit on the break is what you are so thats how I usually wind up playing. Its hard enough to get people to play with calling their shots lol.
I didnt know about the cue ball in hand anywhere on the table though. I played some online pool one day and saw that when the other guy scratched I could put the ball anywhere I wanted to and didnt know why that was allowed but now it makes sense lol.

I disagree. I used to play pretty much every night, on 8' tables. When id play in a bar, id be garbage, even if i brought my own cue in. I also think it has to do with the material of the balls. At bars, they feel plasticy.

Just got in from a long day of streets, I think the whole day we only passed one cop on the side of the road. Monday does if official on the streets, all over, Slim and Ben had some long ones on the service roads too. Real good day.
