Re: Calling aLL NY stunters and stunteresses

all the same shit. if you want a 12bar where you could keep your stock light then get an atown 12 bar as he allows you to use your stock light. on the gearing, its all personal preference. when i started i started with +10 but it was really twitchy and if i could start over again id listen to everyone and rock stock. but your +2 -1 should be good to go.

round bars are actually better. if you catch a corner on a flat bar you could get tossed off. less likely to happen w a round bar.

those round bars look a lot shorter the the flat bars looks like i would have a better chance of looping it with the round bar

thats what the brakes for round or flat shouldnt be used for the purpose of not looping coz then neither will help.

the bigger sprocket is for more low end torque i assume? and makes the throttle more twitchy

and if i could suggest one more thing - if you really wanna get into this wheelie game, buy a beater stunt bike. i destroyed my brand new gsxr 600 when i first started makin wheelies. youll most likely do the same. or at least take off all your plastics til you get BP and idle

Yup.

And a bar on your bike is pointless, it's just going to break your subframe.

+1 I went through 3 or 4 subframes on that bike til I got a steel subframe and then every time id gorilla scrape and slam the bar id be worried and checking my frame tabs

Just spend this money you want to spend on stunt parts for your gixxer and get an actual stunt bike. Some dude has a set up f2 or f3 for sale for around $1000 in the Jersey craigslist I believe.

Do you owe money on this bike?

Owing 5gs on a bike worth absolutely nothing/won't even run is a pretty shitty feeling. Trashing your minty bike is almost inevitable, but new people always think it won't happen to them
