The situation is equivalent to buying a NY state salvage rebuilt titled bike and STILL having to go through the inspection.

If you have a salvage title, it's "rebuilt."

When it's salvaged, a salvage certificate is issued. When you rebuild it, you go in and have it inspected similar to NY, and then a title with SALVAGE stamped on it is issued

So these are equivalent to being rebuilt, but fuck if I know if I'll ever talk to an employee who can understand this and help me out.

http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/brochures...cts/ffvr33.htm

Scroll down to the Salvage Vehicle section.

So basically, the fact that I have a title with SALVAGE on it for these things proves they have been rebuilt. The original title is ganked when they are submitted originally for the Salvage Certificate.

Re: Calling aLL NY stunters and stunteresses

Coz I wanted to do it during the week when I had time. I got 2 interviews tomorrow and then gotta build my steadycam so I got it for the wknd, install my radiator cage which just came in today, do a little shopping for when I go away on Monday and I'd like to ride over the weekend. Maybe if its shitty over the weekend I could find a few hours to come over there and do it. BUT you should pick up the stuff needed for the kleen air mid in the meantime and do that while you have to bike apart
